Light Vehicle Apprentice Technician

A great way to begin your journey into the Automotive industry is through an Apprenticeship. Whilst working full time, you attend Tafe or MTA Training once a week to complete your studies. After approximately four years, you have the opportunity to be a qualified Technician as you would have completed a Certificate lll in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

Reporting to the Service Manager, Apprentice Technicians have the opportunity to get to know the ins and outs of all thing’s cars. Having the opportunity to concurrently study while working, allows for extensive knowledge on the theoretical side.

Apart from Service Manager, there are many other positions such as, Workshop Foreman, Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager, etc. that can assist you in your journey in becoming qualified.

These positions are also an example of what is possible to be when starting your Apprenticeship as all started as Apprentice Technicians.

The opportunities are boundless!
